The handcrafts business we funded in Matagalpa is now producing income… some for the ladies who run the business and some to pay back the loan. Anything that gets paid back will be reinvested in future business ventures in Nicaragua.

Ervin is working on a project for chocolate production. He visited a hard working chocolate farmer friend of mine (Jimmy) from Cane Creek (and one of the community leaders of Bankukut). Jimmy has 50 chocolate trees at his farm.
